Janette has extensive experience in trade mark searching, both in New Zealand and international databases.
Experience
Previous to her role at AJ Park, Janette worked at IPONZ as a Trade Mark Examiner. Outside of examining trade marks she was tasked with the training and development of new colleagues where she would impart her knowledge through feedback and advice. She also hosted fortnightly team training and organising team activities such as monthly drinks and weekly quizzes.
Prior to her role at IPONZ, Janette completed an LLB at Victoria University of Wellington in 2021, and a BSc at Massey University in 2017.
Beyond work
Outside of work Janette enjoys running the hilly terrain of Wellington and hiking with her Golden Retriever, Edgar. You’ll also find Janette stuck into a good book or attending comedy gigs.
