AJ Park ranked gold in the 2018 World Trademark Review 1000

News  \  8 Feb 2018

We’re thrilled to announce that World Trademark Review (WTR) has once again ranked AJ Park as gold in their annual WTR 1000.

The WTR 1000 research directory, which focuses exclusively on trademark practices and practitioners, has firmly established itself as the definitive ‘go-to’ resource for those seeking world-class legal trademark expertise. As with previous editions, to arrive at the 2018 rankings, World Trademark Review undertook an exhaustive qualitative research project to identify the firms and individuals that are deemed outstanding in this critical area of practice. When identifying the leading firms, factors such as depth of expertise, market presence and the level of work on which they are typically instructed were all taken into account, alongside positive peer and client feedback.

The announcement from WTR states that AJ Park is ‘by far the biggest IP player in New Zealand’ and ‘dominates the market’. AJ Park has been quoted as ‘a compelling choice for brand owners with large international portfolios on account of its finely tuned management systems, it represents virtually half of the Fortune 500; however, the lawyers here can switch gears effortlessly and also give smaller domestic innovators the close attention they need.’

The 2018 edition also highlights six AJ Park executives as leading trademark professionals. We are always very proud to be recognised by this prestigious guide as a world-class trade mark firm.
