AJ Park is proud to have four trade mark and litigation experts appointed across various International Trademark Association (INTA) committee positions for the 2026-2027 term. As New Zealand’s largest trade mark team, the representation recognises our peoples expertise, leadership, and commitment to advancing the field of trade mark law and intellectual property.
The appointees are:
- David Harper, Principal and Trade Mark Practice Group Leader: Indigenous Rights Committee
- Kate Giddens, Principal: Brand Restrictions Committee
- Thomas Huthwaite, Principal and Litigation Practice Group Leader: Enforcement Committee
- Victoria Watts, Principal: Unreal Campaign Committee
These members will play a vital role across the advocacy and resource committees, working alongside peers globally to foster innovation, education, and advocacy within the trade mark community.
I’m thrilled to see our team recognised for their exceptional contributions and leadership in trade mark law. As a small nation, it’s great to see AJ Park have such strong representation across these committees and a voice in global trade mark discussions.
David Harper, Principal and Trade Mark Practice Group Leader
